He was born to the late Virgil and Mary Lee (nee Albertson) Ray on May 28, 1952 in Red Bud, Illinois. Terry was a Member of the First Baptist Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. He was a Marine Corp Veteran and he had been a factory worker.
