TRAVIS GENE YOUNG, 29, of Hurst, Illinois, formerly of Chester, passed away unexpectedly at 11:05 am on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois. He was born to Gene and Linda (nee: Ellet) Young on October 25, 1984 in Murphysboro, Illinois. He married Sarah Nabors on December 12, 2012 in Murphysboro, Illinois. She survives. Travis worked as an IT Manager at The H Group. He was a member of Grace Church Ministries in Chester, IL Survivors: Wife Sarah Young Hurst, IL 1 Son: William Young (18 months) Hurst, IL Father & Mother: Gene and Linda Young Chester, IL Maternal Grandmother: Juanita Land Jonesboro, IL 4 Siblings: Amber (Michael II) McClure Belleville, IL Alex Young Chester, IL Brandon Young Chester, IL Christopher Young Chester, IL Other Survivor: Charles McClain Murray, KY Aunt, Uncles, Cousins and Friends Preceded in death by: Paternal Grandparents - August & Pearl Young and Maternal Grandfather - David Ellet It was Travis' wish to be cremated.
