Mildred Marie Baldock

August 18, 1922 - January 19, 2014

MILDRED MARIE BALDOCK, 91, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:15 am on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, IL. She was born to the late Raymond and Dorothy (nee: Hopkins) Fisher on August 18, 1922 in Hagarstown, IL. She married John William Baldock on June 21, 1941 in Poplar Bluff, MO. He preceded her in death February 3, 1984. Mildred was a Nursing Assistant at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home for 10 years and worked 10 years at Memorial Hospital in Chester. She also did private care for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chester, IL. She was a member of the order of the Eastern Star for well over 66 years. She enjoyed playing for several years with the "Mississippi Saints", a senior citizens kitchen band. She did volunteer work and enjoyed going to the local nutrition site. She was also a life member of the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary in Chester, IL.
