WALTER E. LANGREHR, 95, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 3:51 pm, Sunday, November 17, 2013 at R& R Country Care Senior Living in Ruma, Illinois He was born to the late Charles and Caroline (nee Hanebutt) Langrehr on August 14, 1918 in Evansville, Illinois. He married Anita Liefer on May 12, 1946 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois; she survives. He was a life-long farmer and a member of the Randolph County Farm Bureau. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois. He was a very active member holding many offices at the church and also the school. He was a member of St. Peter's Men's Club, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, and Lutheran Laymen's League. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post #1172 in Evansville.
