DOROTHY L. McCONACHIE, 80, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 12:00 am, Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Red Bud Care Center, Red Bud, Illinois. She was born to the late Francis and Mary (nee: Laufer) Pautler on October 28, 1933 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. Dorothy was married to Richard C. McConachie on March 12, 1955 in Evansville, Illinois; who preceded her in death on July 26, 2011. She had taught school at Red Bud High School where she taught business classes until her retirement. She graduated with her Bachelor degree from S.I.U. Carbondale, IL and received her Master's degree from S.I.U. Edwardsville, IL She was a former member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Evansville, Illinois Survivors: 4 Son's Michael (Carrie) McConachie Long Grove, IL Mark (JoAnn) McConachie Evansville, IL Brian McConachie Evansville, IL Stephen (Leslie) McConachie Sparta, IL 3 Siblings JoAnn (Merl) Kueker Red Bud, IL Sally Berndt San Diego, CA James (Vera) Pautler Red Bud, IL 1 Brother-in-law John (Mary Ann) McConachie Wentzville, MO 8 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband - Richard C. McConachie and 1 Son - Richard A. McConachie It was Dorothy's wishes to be cremated.
