RICHARD JAMES NIEMEYER, 54, of Carbondale, IL, formerly of Chester, IL passed away on Friday November 1, 2013, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born to Harvey August and Dorothy Pearl (nee: Weaver) Niemeyer on June 16, 1959 in Sparta, IL. He married Patricia Sauerhage on March 28, 1980 in Chester, IL. She survives. Richard was an Entrepreneur with a degree in IT and Business Administration. He was of the Christian faith. Richard was co-founder of Community Action Support Team. He touched many teen's lives. He took in teens and helped raise them giving many fun memories. He was also a Ham Radio Operator, a Storm Spotter for Paducah - NOAA and a local Football Player.
