SISTER MARY EDITH DONZE, ASC, 102, of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Ruma Center, Ruma, Illinois, died at 5:07am, Monday, October 28, 2013 at the community's center in Ruma, Illinois. She was born to the late Joseph Henry and Mary Ann (nee Schranz) Donze in East St. Louis, Illinois on July 13, 1911. She made her first vows as an Adorer of the Blood of Christ on July 1, 1928 and final profession on July 1, 1933. Sister M. Edith ministered in domestic service in both Illinois and Missouri; some of the places were New Baden, Illinois (1929), Catholic Children's Home (1929-31) and Loretto Home (1951-56) in Alton, Illinois; Kelso, Missouri (1958-59, 1961-63), De Mattias Hall in St. Louis, Missouri (1964-65, 1969-72), Festus, Missouri (1978-85), and the Ruma Center (1972-78, 1985-86).
