NORMAN H. "BOOG-A-LOO" MELLIERE, 74, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 7:35 pm, Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois. He was born to the late Henry and Rose (nee Fausz) Melliere on July 24, 1939 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. He married Mary Rickert on January 21, 1960 in Madonnaville, Illinois; she survives. He had been a Meat Cutter for various places in St. Louis and Prairie du Rocher. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois and the Fort de Chartres Sportsman Club in Modoc, Illinois. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his pets. Survivors: Wife Mary Melliere Prairie du Rocher, IL 4 Sons Frank Melliere (Friend Robin Treece) Prairie du Rocher, IL Norman Melliere (Friend April Seymour) Prairie du Rocher, IL Tony Melliere Prairie du Rocher, IL Troy (Stacy) Melliere Prairie du Rocher, IL 1 Sister Lavinia Steibel Red Bud, IL 6 Grandchildren Cody Melliere, Wyatt Melliere, Kelsey Lindenberg, Manny Melliere, Ally Melliere and Brody Melliere Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Preceded in death by Parents, 1 Son - Tim Melliere, 1 Sister - Leta Adkins and 1 Grandson - Ian Melliere It's was Norman's wishes to be cremated.
