He was born to Donald and Dorothy (nee Dilday) Schroeder on November 29, 1970 in Chester, Illinois. He married Donna J. Hall on July 22, 1989 in Ellis Grove, Illinois; she survives. He was a service writer for Bobcat in Fairview Heights, Illinois for the past 11 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove, Illinois. He was an Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed all types of sports. He loved camping, fishing and his truck.
