Alice K. Eggemeyer, 92, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:45 pm, Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL. She was born to the late Francis and Bessie (nee: Harmon) Taggart on June 1, 1921 in Hurst, IL. She married Elmer J. Eggemeyer on May 31, 1946 in Chester, IL. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2001. Alice was a retired legal secretary. She was a member of New Palestine United Methodist Church in New Palestine, IL. Survivors: 1 Son: Tom (Kim) Eggemeyer Bozeman, MT 2 Grandchildren: Zach Eggemeyer Erin Eggemeyer Several Nieces and Nephews Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband - Elmer Eggemeyer, 2 Sisters - Ruth Watson & Jessie Jones and 1 Brother - Thurston Taggart It was Alice's wish to be cremated Graveside Service: 11:00 am Saturday August 24, 2013 New Palestine Cemetery, Walsh, IL Officiating: Rev.
