CECILIA E. (nee PAUTLER) STORK, 87, of Sparta, Illinois, went peacefully to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, August 5, 2013 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Illinois with her loving family at her side. She was born on July 25, 1926 in Evansville, Illinois to Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Kreher) Pautler. She married the love of her life, Gerald L. Stork on October 25, 1947 and together they had celebrated 65 beautiful years of marriage. He survives. Prior to her marriage, Cecile, earned a teaching certificate from SIU -Carbondale. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sparta. She was a member of St. Ann's Altar Sodality and had received the Catholic Woman of the Year in 1996. Cecile or "Babe", as her husband referred to her, was a very loving, dedicated and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and dancing the jitter bug with her kids. Besides her husband, Gerald Stork of Sparta, IL, Cecile was survived by Dennis (Lindaann) Stork of Sparta, IL, Elaine McMath of Waterloo, IL, David (Mary Beth) Stork of New Lenox, IL, Ronald (Joan) Stork of Sparta, IL, Carol (John) Heizer of Jackson, MO, Joyce (Ralph) Schulein of Sparta, IL, Larry (Brenda) Stork of Sparta, IL, Joni (Chuck) Mraz of Morehead, KY, Jeanie (Ron) Nagrodski of Johnston City, IL and Marie Davis (friend Doug Capps) of Waterloo, IL. She was the proud grandmother of Peter (Emily) Stork, Kelly (Brian) Bode, Kris Brower, Jayne (Doug) Gum, Dawn (Brett) Ivers, Jackie Stork, David Stork, Laura (Kevin) Terry, Katie Stork, Becky (Jason) Kempfer, Angie (Eric) Stiegemeyer, Jeremy (Jen) Heizer, Jessica (Rich) Soderlund, Tim (Andrea) Schulein, Nick (Mindy) Stork, Rachel (Tyler) Nowell, Chris Stork, Zachary Stork, Elizabeth (Kevin) Hamm, Megan (Kyle) Mann, Ashley Nagrodski, Kelsie Nagrodski, Brittany Davis, Kendra Davis, Trevor Davis and Maddie Davis. Cecile also cherished her 29 Great-Grandchildren: Eleanor Stork; Hayley & Hayden Bode; Keegan, Korbin, Olivia, Ezekiel, Isaiah and Elijah Brower; Natalie, Norah and Nichole Gum; Jackson & Rylee Ivers; Audrey Terry; Aidan, Owen & Gavin Stiegemeyer; Liam & Xander Heizer; Jacob, Kaitlyn & Luke Soderlund; Tyler & Evan Schulein; Emma & Jack Stork; Layla Nowell; Emma Hamm and with 2 more great grandchildren on the way. Other survivors includes her brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Harold & Dorothy Braun of Evansville, IL and Merl & Maggie Liefer of New Athens, IL and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends She was preceded in death by one son, Our Angel in Heaven, Roger Joseph Stork.
