James L. Gaertner

James L. "Squiggy" Gaertner, 57, of Walsh, IL, passed away at 10:05 pm, Saturday, July 27, 2013 surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Walsh, IL. He was born to the late Norman R. and Elaine L. (nee: Kelley) Gaertner on October 17, 1955 in Rockville, CT. He married Mary S. Surman Jones on June 14, 1986 in Ellis Grove, IL. She survives. Jim worked at Wright Do-It Center in Sparta for the last 20 years as their receiving clerk. Survivors: Wife: Mary S. Gaertner Walsh, IL 1 Sister: Chris (Omer) Schoenbeck Evansville, IL 5 Step-Children 10 Grandchildren Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents and Grandparents He was loved by many for his stubbornness, not in spite of it. It was Jim's wish to be cremated with no service. Memorials: Hospice of Southern Illinois
