ALBERTA M. "Bertie" ROSENBERG, 92, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 8:20 am, Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois. She was born to the late Albert and Florence (nee Disch) Eisenbart on October 26, 1921 in Red Bud, Illinois. She married Thomas Rosenberg on December 25, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri; he preceded her in death on January 9, 1989. She had been a School Teacher in Monroe County; mostly teaching 3rd and 4th grade. She was also a homemaker. She loved to sew and quilt. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois and also the Evening Guild at church. She was also a member of the Home Extension in both Randolph and Monroe County; a member of the Retired Teacher Association and also several card clubs.
