JAMES J. "Jim" FEY, 87, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 11:55 am, Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Chester Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois. Jim was born to the late Edward and Eleanor (nee Bollmann) Fey on July 20, 1925, at Chester, Illinois. He married Irma O. Oppermann on April 6, 1947, at Wine Hill, Illinois who survives. Jim was a retired Lieutenant at Menard Correctional Center where he worked for 32 years. Jim was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Life Member of the American Legion Post #487, Chester and V.F.W. Post #3553, Chester, Illinois Police Association and the Navy Armed Guard.
