DENNIS L. BRAUN, 62, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 7:32 pm, Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois. He was born to the late Elroy L. "Bud" and Wanda M. (nee Wesbecher) Braun on July 25, 1950 in Red Bud, Illinois. He married Leanna M. Day on March 16, 1974 at St. Peter's Cathedral in Belleville, Illinois; she survives. He had worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years and retired as Postmaster. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, Illinois. He had served as Alderman in Red Bud for many years. He was a past member of the Optimist Club in Red Bud and The Randolph County Democrat Club. Survivors: Wife Leanna M.
