She was born to the late Eugene and Anna (nee: Rodewald) Stewart on April 13, 1917 in Cora City, IL. She was married to Herbert McCormick. He preceded her in death. Edith was a housewife. She was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Rockwood, IL, Survivors: 5 Sons: Donald (Irene) McCormick Clifford (Barbara) McCormick Roger McCormick Dale (Donna) McCormick Terry (Mary) McCormick 6 Daughters: Wanda (Cleve) Henson Peggy (Maurice) Tippett Patsy (Douglas) Tudor Sue (Gary) Doughney Donna Prater Bonnie McCormick Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband - Herbert McCormick, 2 Sons - Jerry and Allan McCormick and 3 Brothers - Roy, Jimmy and Glenn Stewart.
