JIMMIE RAY THOMPSON, 76, of Chester, Illinois passed away at 12:10 pm, Friday, March 15, 2013 at Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois. He was born to the late Eugene and Lucille (nee Weber) Thompson on April 23, 1936 in Marion, Illinois. He married Helga Koke on May 18, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri; she survives. He had worked in Human Resources at Spartan Printing. He had attended Grace Church in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of the Bass Masters and AmBASSaders. He was an Army Veteran.
