DOUGLAS NEIL HUEGLE, 61, of Baldwin, Illinois, passed away at 4:52 pm, Friday, February 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born to Wallace S. and Cynthia E. (nee Asher) Huegle on December 17, 1951 in Red Bud, Illinois. He married Garnette Leann Evans on September 18, 2010 in Baldwin, Illinois; she survives. He was a Carpenter at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, Missouri. He was member of the VFW Post #2698 in Sparta, Illinois and the Carpenter Union. He loved spending time on his pontoon boat and he was also an avid fisherman. He was a Navy Veteran. Survivors: Wife Garnette Huegle Baldwin, IL Mother Cynthia Huegle Red Bud, IL 2 Children Stacy Huegle Lenzburg, IL Rebecca Johnson Ellis Grove, IL 4 Step Children William (Erin) Stafford Baldwin, IL Terry (Megan) Evans Perryville, MO Allen Evans Sparta, IL Rachel Frazer Chester, IL 1 Brother Steven B. Huegle Baldwin, IL 15 Grandchildren Preceded in death by Father, 2 Sisters - Anna Huegle and Margie Polk and 1 Brother - Kenneth Huegle It's was Douglas' wishes to be cremated. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to Family Choice and are being accepted at the funeral home. Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud, Illinois, is assisting the family with arrangements.
