ROY H. OTTEN, 87, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Saint Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He was born to the late John and Christina (nee Young) Otten on February 6, 1925 in Evansville, Illinois. He married Bernice Maurer on August 6, 1949 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, Illinois; she preceded him in death on July 6, 2011. He had worked at Snyder General in Red Bud, Illinois for over 40 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Red Bud, Illinois. He was a WWII Army Veteran.
