RUTH M. BROWN, 92, of Modoc, Illinois, passed away at 9:50 pm, Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois. She was born to the late Bernard and Lorena (nee Smith) Brown on April 24, 1920 in Modoc, Illinois. She was never married. She had worked as a Nurses Aid at St. Clement's Hospital in Red Bud, Illinois for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, Modoc, Illinois. She was an avid quilter and gardener. She enjoyed sewing and canning.
