BILLIE M. DIAL, 91, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:25 am, Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Illinois. He was born to the late Sylvion and Lola (nee Crittenden) Dial on October 19, 1921 in Ellis Grove, Illinois. Billie married Mildred Rose Fuss on August 4, 1946 in Ord, Nebraska; she survives. He had been an electrician at Arch Minerals for 20 years. Prior to that, he had worked at Dial Supply in Chester. Billie was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois, Lutheran Laymen League, Chester Rotary Club, V.F.W. Post #3553 in Chester, and American Legion Perryville, MO. He had volunteered at St. John's Radio Broadcast. He had been active in civil defense. He was also a WWII Army Veteran.
