CHARLES J. "CHARLIE" MARCINKOWSKI, 82, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 4:55 am, Monday, January 7, 2013 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois. He was born to the late August and Anna (nee Jany) Marcinkowski on July 3, 1930 in Chester, Illinois. He married Barbara Brown Wathen on July 24, 1970 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Belleville, Illinois; she survives. He had worked for Road District #2 and had been the Road Commissioner for Road District #2 from 1985 till his retirement 1993. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chester, life member of the Knight of Columbus #3790 in Chester and the Randolph County Farm Bureau. He was a big coon hunter in this earlier years and horseman. He was a Navy Veteran.
