MARGARET ANN "PEGGY" HAYES, 59, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 7:15 pm, Thursday, December 20, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Waterloo, Illinois in St. Clair County. Peggy was born to the late Claude H. and Nathalie Rosa (nee Kennedy) Simpson on May 21, 1953 at Red Bud, Illinois. Peggy married Gerald Dean Hayes on June 25, 1988. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2003. She was an Assistant Director of Medical Records for Touchette Regional Hospital, Centerville, Illinois for over 20 years. She was of the Catholic Faith. Peggy was a friend to everyone she met. She would welcome you with open arms and always had a smile on her face. She was a lot like her Mother, Rose. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved to read, ride horses, play bingo, cook, bake and was part of the cookie exchange at Christmas.
