ALMA K. JANY, 100, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 9:15 pm, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois. She was born to the late Frank W. and Mary (nee Petrowske) Jany on March 27, 1912 at Fort Gage, Illinois. Alma was never married She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester and the Blessed Virgin Mary Altar Sodality. She had worked at home on the family farm near Fort Gage, and also at Prim Hosiery in Chester.
