She was born to William St. Patrick and Ada Jane (nee: Smith) Popejoy on November 13, 1937 in Jackson County, IL. She married Delbert Klein on November 8, 1958 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chester, IL. He survives. Betty was a retired housekeeper for Randolph County and Chester Mental Health Center. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester, IL.
