PAUL M. ELLNER, 67, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 3:40 pm, Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois. He was born to John and Josephine Mae (nee Brown) Ellner Sr., on June 9, 1945 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. He married Susie Ray on June 1, 1968 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; she survives. He had worked as a supervisor for Western Union and AT&T for 35 years. After retiring from AT&T he worked part-time at the Ruma Convent as a security guard and worked in the maintenance department. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Red Bud, Illinois and an Army Veteran. He was a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed collecting model trains and going to train shows. He was a CB and HAM operator. He was also big into computers. His greatest love of all was for his dogs. Over the years, Paul had several bird hunting dogs and show dogs. His biggest accomplishment was winning the Southern Illinois Regional with his Brittany Spaniel "Kidd".
