WILBERT H. SCHOENBECK, 82, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at Columbia Rehab and Nursing Center, Columbia, Illinois. He was born to the late Fred and Louise (nee Nagel) Schoenbeck on December 16, 1929 in Red Bud, Illinois. He married Emma Wettig on September 24, 1950 at West Point Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, Illinois; she survives. He was a farmer. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, (Prairie) Red Bud, Illinois. He served on several committees at church and had been a past chairman of the congregation. He was also a member of the Men's Club and the Lutheran Laymen League. He was a member of the Randolph County Farm Bureau and had served on the board. He had been a member of Randolph County Weed Committee, Randolph County Farm Extension Committee and board member of the Horse Prairie Telephone Company. He also had been a Chairman of the Mid America Milk Producers. He was a Korean Conflict Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #1172 in Evansville, Illinois. Survivors: Wife Emma Schoenbeck Red Bud, IL 1 Son Robert (Diane) Schoenbeck Red Bud, IL 1 Brother Archie (Brenda) Schoenbeck Collinsville, IL 3 Grandchildren Kaitlan, Kailey and Kolan Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
