DOROTHY M. BOCKHORN, 92, of Valparaiso, Indiana, formerly of Chester, Illinois passed away at 4:46 am, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Horton VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso, Indiana. She was born to late Theodore and Dorothea (nee Bruns) Meierhoff on September 23, 1920 in Percy, Illinois. She married Herman "Bud" Bockhorn on July 3, 1941 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, Illinois; he preceded her in death on September 14, 1999. She had worked at Chester National Bank for 20 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Valparaiso, Indiana and former member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester.
