Amanda K. Abell, 90, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:20 pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, Illinois. She was born to Henry K. and Ella (nee: Hanebutt) Kueker on December 23, 1921 in Evansville, IL. She married Walter J. Abell on August 28, 1954 in Evansville, IL. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1990. Amanda was retired from Gilster - Mary Lee Corporation. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL. Survivors: 1 Son: Roger (Liz) Abell Steeleville, IL 3 Daughters: Carol (Gary) Buckholtz Prairie du Rocher, IL Margie Abell Chester, IL Donna Abell Evansville, IL 1 Brother: Ardell F.
