Wilbert "Wib" Eggemeyer, 95, of Chester, IL, passed away at 11:05 am on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Chester Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Chester, IL. He was born to the late Eddie and Minnie (nee: Hapke) Eggemeyer on March 18, 1917 in Walsh, IL. He married Virginia Ebers on June 11, 1949 in Osceola, AR. She preceded him in death on September 2, 2000. Wib was a retired Carpenter. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL, Carpenter's Local #1361, and a Life Member of the American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 and VFW Post #3553 Survivors: 2 Children: Gary R.
