Myrtle A. Hathaway, 70, of Ellis Grove, IL, passed away at 1:24 pm on Thursday July 26, 2012, at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, IL. She was born to the late Ben and Faye (nee: Wheat) Guethle on October 10, 1941 in Chester, IL. She married Michael Hathaway on November 2, 1957 in Chester, IL. He survives. Myrtle was a housewife and was a retired housekeeper at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Chester, IL.
