ELAINE L. GAERTNER, 81, of Walsh, Illinois, passed away at 11:10 pm, Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois. She was born to the late James and Hazel (nee Prentiss) Kelley on October 31, 1930 in Ellington, Connecticut. She married Norman R. Gaertner on July 7, 1951 in Rockville, Connecticut; he preceded her in death June 24, 2001. She was a homemaker. She also had worked at the school cafeteria in Evansville. She was a member of St. Pius V Catholic Church, Walsh, Illinois.
