JOHN D. MARLIN, 65, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at Lesterville, MO John was born to the late Noel and Mabel (nee Williams) Marlin on June 19, 1947 in Evansville, Indiana. John married Barbara Moll on June 14, 1969 in Evansville, Illinois; she survives. John had been a Science Teacher at the Sparta High School, Sparta, Illinois for 34 years. In his earlier years, he taught at Menard Correctional Center, Chester, Illinois John was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, IL; Knights of Columbus #1952 in Evansville, IL; 4th Degree Knights of Columbus - Fort Kaskaskia Assembly; American Legion Post #1172 in Evansville, IL; N.R.A.; Randolph County Rod and Gun Club; Retired Teacher Association and Southern Illinois University Alumni Association.
