Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Nehrt, 96, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Chester, Illinois, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 at Garden Villa's South in St. Louis, Missouri. Betty was born to Edwin and Mary Ethel (nee: Cathcart) Finley on November 20, 1915 in Sparta, IL. She married Judge Paul H. Nehrt on March 5, 1942 in Perryville, MO. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1993. Betty was a retired Elementary School Teacher. She had taught in the Steeleville and Baldwin areas.
