June M. "Judy" Mulholland, 79, of Chester, Illinois, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born to Robert and Ruby (nee: Clendenin) Butler on June 19, 1932 in Sparta, IL. She married John E. Mulholland, Jr. on May 29, 1950 in Osceola, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2010. Judy was a secretary for Mulholland Engineering and Land Surveying and worked with her mother at Ruby's Beauty Shop for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church in Chester, IL, the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, the Liberty Bell of the West Daughters of American Revolution chapter and was the CHS Twirling Instructor for more than 14 years. Judy also helped initiate the first Girl Scout Troop in Chester and served as a Girl Scout leader in many capacities within Shagbark Council.
