DELLA MAE BIEVENUE, 86, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois. She was born to the late Francis E. and Ramona (nee Bielefeld) Melliere on June 30, 1925 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. She married Howard Bievenue on May 1, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; he preceded her in death on December 7, 1982. She was a homemaker and was an avid gardener and quilter. She loved to cook and sew. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. Survivors: 2 Children Thomas (Diana) Bievenue Evansville, IL Suzanne (James) Lawrence Evansville, IL 4 Siblings Margaret "Pat" Schwartz Ruma, IL F. Edward (Marie) Melliere Evansville, IL Hedy Melliere St. Louis, MO Bette Punshon Manchester, MO 3 Grandchildren Sean (Jennifer) Bievenue, Jon (Elizabeth) Lawrence & Sarah (Jeff) Birkner 4 Great Grandchildren Dylan, Jena & Lexi Bievenue and Brooke Birkner Many Nieces and Nephews Preceded in death by Parents, Husband, and 1 Brother-in-law: Wilbur "Wib" Schwartz It was Della Mae's wishes to donate her body to Saint Louis University for Scientific Study.
