Joan was born to the late August "Gus" and Sylvia (nee: Harmon) Runge on September 9, 1939 at New Palestine, Illinois She married Robert "Bob" Reid on December 21, 1956 at New Palestine, Illinois. He survives Joan was co-owner of Reid's Harvest House restaurant in Chester, IL. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Chester, Illinois.
