Garry Tim "Pee Wee" Derringer, 58, of Ellis Grove, IL, passed away at 10:30 am on Wednesday May 9, 2012, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He passed on peacefully surrounded by his wife and children. He was born to Billie and Versia (nee: Ozee) Derringer on June 20, 1953 in Golconda, Illinois. He married Joan (nee: Averbeck) Wenzel on December 15, 1978 in Chester, Illinois. She survives. Garry was a Union Carpenter Local #662 For 40 years. He was a member of Chester Eagles, Randolph County Saddle Club and Steeleville Bass Club. He was a former Fire Chief of the Ellis Grove Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid Fisherman and Hunter.
