SISTER MARTHA WICKHAM, ASC, 98, of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Ruma Center, Ruma, Illinois, passed away at 12:11 am, Tuesday, May 01, 2012 at the community's center in Ruma, Illinois. She was born to the late Thomas Nixson and Ethel Dulcey Glover in Fulton, Missouri on February 8, 1914. After the death of her husband Fred, Sister Martha joined the Adorers of the Blood of Christ and made first vows on June 22, 1986 and final vows on October 8, 1989. Sister Martha raised a family of two daughters and three sons. Her community ministry was in pastoral care and as an organist. She served in Pinckneyville, Illinois (1985-1987), Murphysboro, Illinois (1987-1988), Belleville, Illinois (1988-1990), Branson, Missouri (1990-1993) and retired at the Ruma Center in 1993. Survivors: 2 Daughters Lucia Mueller & Pricilla Holloway 2 Sons Michael & Brad Wickham Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and community members Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband - Fred and One Son - Fred Wickham, Jr. Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 pm, Friday, May 4, 2012 Ruma Center Chapel, Ruma, Illinois Officiating: Father Clyde Grogan with reflections by Sister Jan Renz, ASC Visitation: Thursday - 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday - 8:00 am - 11:00 am Ruma Center Chapel, Ruma, Illinois Interment: 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 5, 2012 Sunset Hills Cemetery Warrensburg, Missouri Donations in memory of Sister Martha Wickham may be sent to the ASC Retirement Fund, 4233 Sulphur Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63109 or on-line at www.adorers.org "Support Our Ministries"
