NORBERT W. WILKENING, 82, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 1:47 pm, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Red Bud Regional Care Center, Red Bud, Illinois. Norbert was born to the late Harry G. and Lena (nee Schlimmer) Wilkening on December 20, 1929, Illinois at Ruma, Illinois. Norbert was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Ruma, Illinois. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #6632, Red Bud, Illinois and the D.A.V. He was an Army Veteran. Norbert made the most of his life and was an inspiration to everyone. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and his cars, especially his Corvettes.
