GEORGE J. STORK, 81, of Walsh, Illinois, passed away at 12:42 am, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Illinois. George was born to the late Lawrence and Hazel (nee Heinz) Stork on November 27, 1930 at Walsh, Illinois. George was married to Thelma Ann Pautler on April 12, 1958 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Evansville, Illinois; she preceded him in death on December 23, 2002. He had worked at Spartan Printing as a Printing Pressman for 30 years. Then he worked as a security guard and maintenance man for the Ruma Convent and Red Bud Regional Hospital. George was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church, Walsh, Illinois, American Legion Post #1172, Evansville, Illinois, V.F.W. Post #3553, Chester and the Knights of Columbus, Sparta. He was an Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict.
