FERN M. NITZSCHE, 86, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 4:52 pm, Monday, February 20, 2012 at Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, Illinois She was born to the late Frank and Clara (nee DeRousse) Kempfer on April 30, 1925 in Modoc, Illinois. She married Cleo E. Nitzsche on April 19, 1947 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on May 18, 2009. She had been an inspector at Spartan Light Metals for 12 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Evansville, Illinois.
