ROBERTA E. POSTMAN, 88, of Chester, Illinois passed away at 8:45 pm, Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Chester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Chester, Illinois. Roberta was born to the late Leo and Clara (nee Helmers) Postman on November 12, 1923 at Chester, IL. Roberta was never married. Roberta retired from the Buena Vista National Bank, Chester, Illinois as a bookkeeper after many years. In her earlier years, Roberta worked at Prim Hosiery in Chester. Roberta was a life long member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester, the Catholic Council of Women and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #487, Chester, IL.
