LORRAINE M. MELLIERE, 86, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 1:25 pm, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Oak Hill in Waterloo, Illinois. She was born to the late Arch and Gladys (Barbeau) Fausz on March 10, 1925 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. She married Gilmore J. Melliere on December 29, 1948 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; he preceded her in death on November 16, 2010. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois and the Altar Sodality. She was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary in Prairie du Rocher and Prairie du Rocher Rummy Card Club. She was an avid bingo and card player. She loved making quilts and doing embroidery.
