Larry M. Costilow, 69, of Chester, IL, passed away on Thursday November 24, 2011 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born to Van Melvin and Florence Louise (nee: King) Costliow on October 29, 1942 in Salem, IL. He married Andrea Jeanne Fulford on August 5, 1977 in Chester, IL. She survives. Larry was a retired Elementary Teacher in Prairie du Rocher, IL for 13 years and Chester Grade School for 21 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Chester, IL. Larry received his Bachelor's degree from Notre Dame University and his Master's degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He officiated boys and girls sports for the Illinois High School Association for 35 years. He started the girl's basketball program at Chester Grade School and coached there many years. He was inducted in the Chester High School Hall of Fame.
