Marvin E. Buck, 85, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 5:40 pm, Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois. He was born to the late Theodore M. and Golda (nee: Wills) Buck on September 7, 1926 in Julesburg, Colorado. He married Josephine Smith on October 7, 1955 in Corinth, Mississippi. She preceded him in death March 4, 2003. Marvin was a retired truck driver for the Gilster-Mary Lee Corporation. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Eagles Aerie #3059, Chester, Moose Lodge #1764, Chester, American Legion Post #487, Chester, and a Life member of V.F.W. Post #3553, Chester,. He was a WWII Navy veteran.
