MARVIN L. HERZOG, 80, of Walsh, Illinois, passed away at 8:55 am, Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, Illinois. He was born to the late Otto and Claire (nee Bamauer) Herzog on January 20, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was never married. He was a farmer. He was a member of St. John's Church of Christ in Evansville, Illinois and had been a member of the Randolph County Farm Bureau. He was an avid gardener and was a Korean War Army Veteran.
