Charles A. "Puge" Kuehne, 80, of Chester, IL, passed away at 8:25 pm on Friday, July 29, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL. He was the son of Albert J. and Emma Mae (nee: Childers) Kuehne. He was born on June 6, 1931 in Raddle, Illinois. He was retired Maintenance supervisor for Bi-State. Charles was an Army Veteran of 22 Years, served in Vietnam and received two Purple Hearts. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester. He was also a Shriner, a member of the American Legion Alva Courier Post 487 and the VFW Post #3553. Charles and Ann had two children.
