PAUL W. CABANISS, 62, of Ellis Grove, Illinois passed away at 4:35 pm, Thursday, June 30, 2011 at his residence. He was born to the late Paul and Elizabeth (nee Davis) Cabaniss on February 8, 1949 in Kenbridge, VA. He was a Director of Staff Development at Chester Mental Health for 19 years. He was a member of the Steeleville Eagles, V.F.W. Post #3553 in Chester and N.R.A. He had been a spokesperson for Veteran Affairs. He was an avid motorcycle rider, fisherman and horseback rider. He was in the Army Military Intelligence for 21 years and served in the Vietnam War.
