MICHAEL HOGREFE, 63, of Murphysboro, IL, formerly of Chester, IL, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Murphysboro, IL. He was born to Gilbert L. and Jacqueline (nee: Lawder) Hogrefe on June 13, 1947 in Chester, Illinois. He was working for the State of Illinois with the Illinois Youth Camp in Murphysboro, IL. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester and was a retired Sergeant in the Chester Police Department.
